John Kim currently holds a position as a Manufacturing Engineer at Northrop Grumman with 18 years experience as an engineer. He has worked in the satellite industry for over 10 years and the remaining in both the automotive and aircraft. Mr. Kim has spent his career as a design engineer, a lead research and development engineer, project engineer , and manufacturing engineer. His areas of technical expertise include primary and secondary structure, mechanisms and class A surfacing for automotive design and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. In addition, he has served as a key role of implementing laser scanning CMM technology to F-35 production line at Northrop Grumman. Mr. Kim holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach and a Certificate in Systems Engineering from Cal Tech. He is certified as a GD&T Professional at the Senior Level by ASME

Mr.Kim is Senior Certified by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), which is one of the most distinguished certifications within the engineering industry. Senior Level Certified Engineers are far and few in the world and offer extraordinary insight in this complex mathematical language that spans many engineering disciplines. Mr.Kim was also the first person in the world to be Senior Certified in the ASME Y14.5-2009 Standard.
